Simple Fat Loss Rule

A simple fat loss rule

To lose fat you need to burn calories and to do that you need to move your body. But you can’t ignore what you eat just because you are putting the hours in at the gym.

I often get approached by people who have been working hard in the gym and are not seeing the benefit from it. This leads to frustration and ultimately giving up on reaching their fat loss goals.

When I talk to them, 99.9% of the time it’s down to diet plain and simple.

If you are serious about reaching your fat loss goals (notice I say fat loss and not weight loss) you must look at what you are eating. My simple rule for greater fat loss is to spend more time working on what you eat.

You can make some simple changes to your diet that will yield results. Adding some foods to your diet and removing others will not only help you burn fat but will also help with your exercise, enabling you to work out with more intensity and recover quicker.

Add these foods to your diet to help you burn fat:

  • Oats
  • Berries
  • Olive oil
  • Nuts
  • Whole grains
  • Eggs
  • Whey Protein
  • Lean meat
  • Green vegetables

And remove these:

  • White pasta
  • White bread
  • White potatoes

Try and cut out as many refined carbohydrates as possible. Stop drinking fruit juices and ‘sports’ drinks and drink more water.

Fat loss is a lifestyle change, it’s about making one small change at a time and seeing the results.

So to increase your fat loss work as hard in the kitchen as you do in the gym and you will smashing your fat loss goals in no time at all.

One simple rule can make a huge difference to your fat loss
