Personal Training, Banbury and Oxfordshire
My name is Jo Monk and I’m a personal trainer based in Banbury.
Finding the time to have an effective workout in today’s busy environment isn’t easy. It’s even harder to stay motivated and consistently work at the right intensity to have an effective workout.
Personal training can help to alleviate all of these problems. A personal trainer will help keep you motivated and offer encouragement and make sure you utilise the time you have available together with monitoring your progress and results.
What is involved in personal training from BodySculpt Fitness?
Firstly there is an initial consultation, this is provided FREE of charge and lasts for approximately 45 minutes. During this time your fitness goals are discussed – what do you want to achieve from your personal training sessions, (e.g. do you want to lose weight? Are you hoping to tone up? Are you training for a specific event? or a special event?)
You will be asked to complete you personal details and then fill in a short health questionnaire.

- Your current measurements are taken. These include weight, body fat percentage. Body measurements which include chest, waist, hips, biceps and thigh. These are used together with your fitness goals and the results of your fitness test to create your personalised fitness plan.
- Short aerobic fitness test. This helps me gauge your current level of fitness.
All of the information above is provided in the strictest confidence and is only used to help me generate your fitness plan and to measure your progress.

What happens next?
I will use the information gathered at your initial consultation to formulate your personalised training plan.
At your first personal training session, I will discuss the results of your fitness test and explain your training plan to you.
The exercises in your personalised training plan will be demonstrated to ensure the correct technique and you will have the opportunity to try each exercise and make sure you are comfortable with what you are being asked to perform. I will explain how many repetitions you must perform or for how long a particular exercise must take. You get a copy of your training plan to work with when on your own.
My aim is to make sure you are happy with your fitness plan and that you have time to ask any questions you may have.
I will constantly monitor your results, help keep you motivated, and continually monitor and improve your training plan so you get an effective workout every time. Generally, each plan lasts approximately 6 weeks depending on your fitness goals and time available.
How much does personal training cost?
Initial consultation and fitness test – Free of Charge.
Personal training plan & fitness test results session – £25
Ongoing personal training sessions – £35 (These last for 1 hour)
