No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars

If you fancy a quick snack and want something healthier, then try these no bake peanut butter protein bars. They take just minutes to make and you only need a few simple ingredients, all you need to do is mix the everything together and chill for a few minutes.

No Bake Peanut Butter Protein Bars

To make these protein bars you will need the following

Ingredients

150g rolled oats

150g of natural peanut butter

One scoop Whey protein – flavoured or plain, it’s completely up to you.

60ml natural yogurt.

One bar of good quality plain chocolate

Optional: Nuts, seeds, sultanas (50g)

Method

Combine the peanut butter, whey protein, oats and natural yogurt together in a bowl.

I also add about 50g of finally chopped nuts and seeds but these are completely optional.

Give the mixture a good stir, it will be quite stiff once you’ve combined everything. Then line a baking tin with grease proof paper.

Add the mixture to the tin and spread out evenly, I use a sponge cake tin that’s about an inch deep.

Melt the plain chocolate and spread over the top of the mixture.

Put the baking tray in the freezer for 10 minutes. Remove and slice up into bite size pieces and enjoy.
